This honour was recently bestowed on the development by TOP500. “This is high praise indeed, considering this year the competition was particularly tough and the measurement criteria was stricter than ever before,” said V&A Waterfront managing director, Derrick van der Merwe. “It is hugely encouraging to be recognised for our ongoing efforts in ensuring the V&A Waterfront remains the number one attraction in South Africa – for locals and out-of-town visitors alike. “This is truly a new era for us.
